What are SECEC Education Centres?
Since this was introduced in 2020, more than 60 centres have been recognised by SECEC as centres of reference for education in shoulder and elbow surgery. SECEC Education Centres are given the opportunity to:
- host fellows or SECEC members and showcase your most recognised techniques,
- take part in online Education activities such as webinars, live surgeries and mentoring sessions (OSES),
- get involved in the SECEC Certificate oral exam,
- contribute to SECEC mutlicentric studies.
This 5-year recognition is granted by the Qualification Committee based on several criteria including surgical volume, facilities and techniques, team qualification, publications and official approval from the country's National Delegate.
