The SECEC Executive Committee is launching a call for application for several open positions on the committees for the period 2025-2027. Do not hesitate to explore these opportunities and consider joining a committee which aligns with your interests. We have groups covering a wide range of topics!
Your involvement will not only contribute to the growth of SECEC but also provide you with valuable networking and collaboration opportunities.
Committees with open positions:
- Qualification Committee : this committee aims to promote and contribute to a future where the highest standards of excellence in shoulder and elbow surgery are achieved through rigorous education, certification, and continuous professional development. Their mission is to foster a culture of lifelong learning by establishing a clear pathway for the qualification and certification of specialists across Europe, ensuring that every surgeon possesses the knowledge, skills, and ethical framework to provide the highest level of patient care.
- Digital Media Committee: this committee is responsible for the scientific content available on the SECEC online platforms (website, app, video library). Their activity is dedicated to updating and classifying the available scientific content, highlighting specific topics / identifying missing topics, linking content with the SECEC curriculum, highlighting articles on social media, suggesting editorials... The Digital Media Committee works in close contact with the SECEC Office who is in charge of managing all informative, technical, and logistical aspects.
- Education Committee : it aims to share the knowledge accumulated in our community with all SECEC members and with all those interested in shoulder and elbow care. It is responsible for organising and supervising SECEC education activities, selecting the ICLs presented at the annual congress. It is also responsible for selecting the fellows for the travelling fellowships.
- Programme Committee : this committee is responsible for the programme of the annual congress, with the constant concern for selecting the best scientific content to ensure the best professional development of all shoulder and elbow specialists. It plays a pivotal role in coordinating the scientific programme, selecting sessions, reviewing submissions, allocating abstracts. It works in close contact with the congress co-chairs, the Digital Media committee, the Education committee and the appointed PCO.
- Support Committee : this committee is dedicated to the development and promotion of shoulder and elbow surgery in rising economies which represent a growing force in the advancement of surgical knowledge and practice. It aims at fostering the integration of all surgeons in the SECEC Community by promoting access to cutting-edge education, encouraging European collaboration through a dedicated fellowship, and opening research and collaboration opportunities.
Applications are open to SECEC full members only.

The list of selected committee members will be validated during the General Assembly in Rotterdam.
